Hi @climaxburden, It's difficult to say what's your problem without seeing the AEDT file and your whole code snippet. Hope this helps, KR Giulia |

Without the rest of the script, it's impossible to know what you're attempting to do. Please, reopen the discussion if you'd like to elaborate on the issue. /jvela018 |

I tried to start the extension at the end point, but nothing happened. I changed the version number of my AEDT. I ran the end point after Maxwell opened, but the extension still didn't pop up.

Will you please provide further information on how you're opening the extension? Are you opening directly via AEDT or via an IDE? /jvela018 |

Is this the same discussion as in: #6650 ? Note, that to extract time dependent data you need to add the "variation" to the field plot, to address the time steps of interest: https://examples.aedt.docs.pyansys.com/version/dev/examples/low_frequency/magnetic/transient_winding.html#Create-output-and-plot-using-PyVista Here's the documentation on export_field_file: https://aedt.docs.pyansys.com/version/stable/API/visualization/_autosummary/ansys.aedt.core.visualization.post.post_common_3d.PostProcessor3D.export_field_file.html /jvela018 |
