In short, I can't push or pull from logged in repositories, the proximate cause is that image push can't read the password from the keychain. I know I'm not the only one, there are several open bugs against it.
There are even some open PRs to address, but there doesn't seem to be any interest in fixing this problem. Is using a private repo just not done much? Or is there something about my setup (and the setup of those experiencing the bug) that's unique?
