I’d like to work on Issue #1907: Scroll-Based Storytelling Animations to Enhance User Engagement as part of SWOC 2026.

I understand that the homepage currently scrolls in a static way, and adding subtle scroll-triggered animations can make the experience more immersive and engaging. My plan is to introduce lightweight animations (such as fade-ins, slide-ups, and gentle parallax effects) that trigger when sections enter the viewport, using performant approaches like the Intersection Observer. I’ll keep animations minimal, consistent, and accessible, including reduced-motion support.

The goal is to enhance engagement without affecting performance or readability.
