[Bug]: GitHub footer button does not redirect to repository #1929

Describe the bug
The GitHub icon/button in the website footer does not redirect to the GitHub repository when clicked.
Nothing happens after clicking the GitHub button, so users cannot access the source code from the website.
Expected behavior
When the user clicks on the GitHub button in the footer, it should open the project’s GitHub repository in a new tab.
