Description While practicing typing lessons, the "Click or press Enter to activate" overlay intermittently appears over the practice text, interrupting the current lesson — even though I have not touched the mouse or touchpad at all during the session. This forces me to click back into the input to resume, breaking the flow of the lesson.
Steps to reproduce
- Start a typing lesson.
- Type continuously without touching the mouse or touchpad.
- At some point during the session, the "Click or press Enter to activate" overlay appears unprompted, blurring/pausing the practice text.
Expected behavior The typing input should retain focus for the duration of the lesson as long as the user keeps typing, and the overlay should only appear if the input genuinely loses focus (e.g., an actual click elsewhere or tab switch).
Actual behavior The overlay appears seemingly at random during active typing, with no mouse/touchpad interaction from my end.
Additional context
- Multiple other users in the keybr.com Discord channel have reported the same behavior, so this doesn't appear to be isolated to my setup.
- Screenshot attached showing the overlay appearing mid-lesson.
Environment
