Lightbox does not respond correctly to screen rotation

Description of Problem

With my phone on a horizontal orientation, if I tap on a picture to open the lightbox I get:

So far so good. If I then rotate the phone to a vertical orientation, I get:

I'd expect to get instead this:

which is what I get when I open the lightbox when the phone is already in vertical orientation.

More generally, the issue is: when rotating the screen, the lightbox should resize to present the same as if it was just freshly open in the new orientation.
