❌ No, I don't think this is a bug. I will explain below
My question
I used application mainly to listen to "talk heads" videos on iPhone. Background playback works fine for listening online content. By background playback I mean turning off phone display by power button and continue listening via headphones or speakers.
But internal player for downloaded content turn playback off immediately phone display turns off.
Internal played lacks option to change playback speed as well.
The only option I found is to import video (audio download speed is much worse than video for some reason) to camera roll, then go to photos all and save to files to VLC app. It will be helpful to avoid camera roll step and have direct command to save to the app of choice.
