Clicking on web link in desktop version opens web page inside tree viewer with no obvious way to go back

I guess this behaviour makes sense for the web version, but for the app the link opens in the same window as the tree, so the tree vanishes with no obvious way of getting it back. Perhaps detect whether running as an app or on web and make link opening behaviour reflect that?
