<p style="font-size:18px; text-indent: 50px; text-align: justify;">Welcome to my corner of the scientific world!
As a Postdoctoral Fellow at the prestigious <b>University of British Columbia (UBC)</b> in Canada, my passion
lies in unraveling the intricate mysteries of materials science, particularly in the realm of metallurgy.
My current focus revolves around the captivating domain of microstructural evolution and phase transformation
within line pipe steels. Delving into the depths of thermomechanical processing, I endeavor to enhance the strength
and resilience of steel through meticulous research and innovative methodologies. Presently, my efforts are concentrated
on pioneering the development of advanced models for predicting microstructure evolution in steel, particularly in
the presence of inert, immovable particles, and during phase transformations. My journey in metallurgy began with a
fervent pursuit of knowledge, culminating in the attainment of a Ph.D. in the field. During this transformative period,
I dedicated myself to investigating the intricacies of oxidation and microstructural evolution in Niobium (C-103) alloy,
a venture generously supported by the esteemed <b>Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO)</b>. My academic pilgrimage further
flourished at the distinguished <b>Indian Institute of Technology Bombay (IIT Bombay)</b>, where I immersed myself in the
national facility for Orientation Imaging Microscopy (OIM) and texture. Here, I honed my skills in a myriad of
characterization tools, including Electron Backscatter Diffraction (EBSD) and X-ray Diffraction (XRD), acquiring
invaluable hands-on experience that has enriched my scientific repertoire. A highlight of my doctoral journey was
pioneering a novel method for spreading speckle patterns on metallic surfaces for Digital Image Correlation (DIC)
experiments, showcasing my penchant for innovation and problem-solving. Additionally, I assumed an active role in
managing the operations of the OIM laboratory at IIT Bombay, further nurturing my leadership and organizational skills.
With over eight years of dedicated immersion in cutting-edge research, my expertise spans experimental methodologies
and sophisticated simulation techniques. From harnessing the power of Density Functional Theory (DFT) to conducting
intricate phase field simulations, I am committed to pushing the boundaries of scientific exploration and innovation.
As I embark on the next chapter of my academic odyssey, I am eager to channel my passion, expertise, and unwavering
dedication toward impactful endeavors that transcend boundaries and inspire transformative change in the realm of materials science.
