I'm not sure if this is relevant, but I wanted to share: Yabai has become a crucial part of my workflow, so I've decided to stick with Sequoia until a stable version is released for Tahoe. Thanks so much for your hard work! |

I personally stick to Sequoia. Tahoe looks to me as a mess, sadly. While it shows that it uses near the same amount of RAM, it clearly does not. Even sound goes choppy by just opening another window? Not a fan of the new UI look. It forces game overlay and FileVault to be on... Also, beware. I got some frustrations about Time Machine on a fresh Tahoe installation, but this applies to all macos versions. If your user's UID is not 501, then you need to create other users on freshly installed macos, before restoring through time machine, until the next UID number for a new user will match yours... Otherwise, you will get a partially broken system and some applications won't work, because the system will set permissions on those applications to the wrong or even unexisting user... |

I currently run Tahoe and sadly I don't really know how to revert back, since I've never really trusted myself to use the time machine back up etc, but if I could, I would, just so I can use Yabai to its full capacity. With that said, however, I think the community fully understand and is grateful for how amazing Yabai has been and is patient knowing this is probably extremely time consuming! Thank you for the amazing hard work you've put into this! It would be amazing to see updates on this, however, if not, I'll just get over my trust issues with time machine back ups and revert back hahaha |

I've started with using KWM, then ChunkWM, and now Yabai. Over the years, your WMs became an essential part of my workflow I can't live without. Really, really amazing work, well done! I always update to the latest OS, and I would like to update to Tahoe, but I'm deferring this update until Yabai is ready – just patiently waiting for now. Aerospace looks promising, yes, and it is my backup plan, but I don't want to get into a hassle of migrating to it just yet. |

The one reason I haven't updated to Tahoe is because I'm waiting for Yabai. |

I do like running on tahoe right now, but I just reccently switched lots of my workflow to scratchpads... and now I will likely have to wait a bit till support comes back... thats ok, but I really enjoyed using it reccently |

Same here, yabai is very crucial for me. I am suffering after upgrading to Tahoe. |

I understand this is volumeter work and if you or others don't have capacity to maintain it. For me I have been using Yabai for 2 years or so and I cannot work easily without it. My whole setup of dual monitor setup both at work and home works flawlessly because of yabai. Yes there are quirks, but they so little compared to the value I get from yabai. I only understood how much I rely on Yabai after it stopped working in Tahoe 😅 When it comes to upgrading, I have to be on latest stable due to our work policy. |

I updated to Tahoe before properly confirming yabai was working (was fine on my portable setup but i use a single space there) and my whole workflow is screwed now. 🥲 I know the issues are already reported but:
I'm coping by having a shortcut key to restart yabai (via raycast), which fixes this on the current screen temporarily. |

Before running any OS upgrades, I will always check for yabai compatibility. I cannot imagine using Mac without it. Thank you so much for creating and maintaining this project |

Yep, latest HEAD looks to have solved a lot for me. |

Released v7.1.16 with preliminary macOS Tahoe support. Unsure if everything is working as expected, but should be an improvement at the very least. |

I'm having a problem since the v7.1.16 update. The app isn't working anymore, although it worked great before. |

This software is very important to me. I still use it on Sonoma because my Mac is managed by my company and they haven't updated us yet. |
