Broken / Outdated “Call for Proposals” Section in July 2025 Community Update Blog Post #5190

Description

@Curiousminded06

Describe the bug.

The blog post “July 2025 Community Update” on the AsyncAPI website still contains an active “Call for Proposals” section with deadlines for events in 2025 and early 2026.

Since 2025 has already passed, this information is now outdated and misleading. The section suggests that proposals are still open until specific 2025 deadlines, which are no longer valid. This may confuse readers visiting the page in 2026 and beyond.

Expected behavior

The outdated “Call for Proposals” section should either:
Be removed entirely, or
Be clearly marked as historical (e.g., “Calls closed”), or
Be updated to reflect current or upcoming events.

2.Scroll to the “Call for Proposals” section
3.Observe that deadlines from 2025 are still presented as active
