Guidelines is a data structure standard and normalization instrument for health care professional guidelines as published from their respective sources.

Such notable sources include the American Heart Association, American Diabetes Association, and others.

The purpose of Guidelines is to maintain the most up to date standards, and to provide convenient access to these Guidelines to be used by the health care community directly and/or indirectly via applications and interfaces made available to application developers.
