It would be nice if either this package used https://github.com/aws/aws-sdk-go-v2 internally or there was a separate package aws-xray-sdk-go-v2 package. There was this PR but nothing happened #138

Deprecation of the v1

I would like an upgrade to v2 because v1 will not receive updates anymore from july 31 2024

Actually v2 is supported, but removing the v1 makes sense at this point

Leaving the v1 dependency in is causing a number of CVE scanners to flag packages depending on this library as vulnerable. Would recommend removing this ASAP.
