It would be nice if the azure-devops-readme plugin could auto-detect whether a README.md exists at the same level as the respective catalog-info.yaml. This would be a great setup for monorepos, as it would allow skipping the dev.azure.com/readme-path definition for each entity.

🎤 Context

If I use a monorepo, I'm forced to define the dev.azure.com/readme-path annotation for each entity, even when README.mds files are kept closer to each catalog-info.yaml.

Hi! I'm a student in the CodePath AI301 program and I'd like
to work on this issue.

I've read through the description and understand the problem:
the azure-devops-readme plugin currently requires manually
defining dev.azure.com/readme-path for every entity, even
when README.md already sits next to catalog-info.yaml.

My plan is to:

1. Set up the local Backstage dev environment this week
2. Trace how the plugin currently resolves the readme-path
   annotation
3. Add auto-detection logic that falls back to the
   README.md at the catalog-info.yaml level when no
   annotation is defined

Would you be open to assigning this to me? Happy to
collaborate with @vinzscam as they mentioned being open to it.
