Hi Haider-BA,
In cuIBM, the kinematics of an immersed body is entirely prescribed. You can find the method to update the location of a body in the class body defined in the header file body.h.

The kinematics defined in the header file is for forced oscillation. My concern is about natural oscillation or Vortex Induced Vibration.
