As far as I'm aware there's no way to export highlights and annotations from the Plato reader.
Nickel will add them to the koboreader.sqlite file, which allows us to export them through third party devices (alt. you can edit the config file to enable highlight exports, which outputs everything in a neat .txt file). Something similar would be a great help.
While Plato is my preferred reader the lack of export options becomes a dealbreaker for certain literature.

I've created a little python script that you can use for this feature which adds your highlights and notes to Readwise.io. It works really well for me, maybe of use for you all as well : https://github.com/ABeehive/PlatoHighlights2Readwise . The idea came from @heyarne here.
I reckon you can easily modify this script to send it to another service or location.
