no worries. I indeed already looked at RIDE, and could not make the library autocomplete work properly for java libraries. This might refer to my problem. All my keywords are written in java, and I just want to use Robot Framework to write the scenarios.

I remember it also being a rather painful process to get it installed - many dependencies - and this in itself was a no-go because of the environment in which I have to work.

Finally, since most of the time I would develop the keywords in java, having to switch environment to then correct the robot files would be cumbersome. Eclipse integration also means clicking on a keyword in a robot file and have it open the java code behind - not so useful for end-user testers, but a must-have for automatic test developers.

In any case, I'll keep an eye out for RF editors, because having more options is always good.

As soon I finish my PRs and major bugs in RIDE, I will give that one top priority (second, really; the first is to list and open .py, .js, .css, .java. .* files directly even if in an external editor ;) )
