When quickly repeating clicking a data-modal-open element to show a modal, then quickly clicking the overlay to close it, the button stops responding.

According to the DOM, the modal appears to be open but not visible.
This must be done so rapidly, that experiencing this bug in a real-world scenario should be very rare, if ever.
