I was under the expectation that Common Berthing Mechanisms would do what they say (attach station modules together)
They don't do anything. I tried every possible combination, active type 1, type 2, passive, two of the same ones, to each other, two different ones, right clicking and enabling active/passive, extending guiding fins, retracting them, enabling docking port, disabling docking port, going slow, going fast, in space, on ground, different alignments, trying it again with every single option, every possible combination of these options, none of them work. They just can't connect. What am I missing? Are these just cosmetic parts? Is there some additional mod I'm supposed to install to make them work? Is there a config option? Where is the documentation for using them and how they work?
