"Why not platform?" links to discussion not aimed at beginners #114

Why is the "Why not platform?" link there?

It links at this discussion, which starts with an enumeration of things new people won't understand. Wouldn't a brief explanation that beginners would understand be much better?

It's just that I don't think it's not very useful for the target audienceto read. Not useful at all actually.
