Installation fails on OSX El Capitan due to missing _clock_gettime required by esbuild

Is it possible to do something to make the installer work for OSX El Capitan? When I run npm i blitz -g - installation fails with the
following error:

dyld: Symbol not found: _clock_gettime
  Referenced from: /Users/Roma/.npm-global/lib/node_modules/blitz/node_modules/esbuild/bin/esbuild__

The version of the downloaded binary is incorrect: Command failed: /Users/Roma/.npm-global/lib/node_modules/blitz/node_modules/esbuild/bin/esbuild__ --version
dyld: Symbol not found: _clock_gettime

Install unsuccessful

The error appears because __clock_gettime is not available in OSX El Capitan. It was introduced later in OSX High Sierra.

However, when I try to do npm i esbuild separately, it installs successfully.
