Displaying, linking or referencing images in RSS feeds

RSS feeds were updated some time ago to make reference to embedded content (simply replacing it with “[contains quote post or other embedded content]”), but in the case of images you still can't see the image itself, no link, no reference, nothing at all; as if it never existed.

Obviously it is a problem to be able to miss a relevant or key part without even noticing it, it is also undesirable not to be able to filter content properly. That's why I would like to ask to include, preferably the image or a link to it, although a reference (differentiated from the rest) would be enough to be useful.
