AVERAGE function doesn't ignore non-numeric values

non-numeric values are ignored when averaging them in excel but xlcalculator throws an error.

e.g

Test
1
2
3

excel will average these 4 cells as 2 but xl calculator will throw an error as 'Test' is non-numeric
