The issue about CDNs, is that reveal presentations made by prez are very often used in conditions where not good connection to the internet is available. Like during a conferences or in schools (yeah that seems quite strange in 2017, but it's still the case. Even in such great and modern cities like Paris)
I was thinking at build time (the final index.html) having CDN assets instead of using the local ones. So instead of having all the reveal assets locally, they would be cached by browsers.
I agree with your other point that you still want to have the presentation usable for offline access. So perhaps this feature would be enabled by an option and defaulted to local assets.
Would you consider an alternative to the initial project template to use src references to a CDN host instead of the localized versions?
