For modelling gas adsorption, heat of adsorption has to be considered.

The (spatially distributed) temperature of the system and the heat of adsorption/ desorption are not only relevant in gas chromatography.

Temperature can generally be treated as a pseudo component in all models. However, the impact of temperature as well as heat sinks/ sources need to be added to the binding models.
