Posted here since October:
https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/ibus-chewing/+bug/2085035

After upgrading to 24.04.01 recently, I started to have this issue with ibus-chewing. When I set the input method to ibus-chewing and use shift key to change it to English mode, whenever I change window focus, e.g., click to another window or another input box, etc., the input would automatically change back to the Chewing mode. This was not the case previously. I am not sure whether it's a feature or a bug, but it's certainly very inconvenient. Could you please fix it or, if it's a feature, let people disable it? Thank you!

More detail in the link. Thanks.

Sounds like #231

Can you also try to disable sync-caps-lock mode?
