1.1.0 to 1.5

I have tried a dozen times to update via SD I get an error

• initializing SD
• SD Card Okay
• Size 1374256 bytes
  -Updating
  then a quick red flash words
• x finalizse failed
  click okay to restart
  it runs this loop
  when that would not work I tried Web OTA every time it fails also
  SO then I tried .bin files with the ESP flash tool
  Downloaded the DIV.ino.bin file 0x10000
  Downloaded the ino.partitions file 0x8000
  that got me a solid white screen
  then i re-flashed back to 1.1.0 with the flash tool using your old files and was able to get UI back up. thinking it was a corrupt install i tired all over again from the top. No Joy. I got nothing i guess I can get the scope out and look for bad board components but I don't know what else to try.
  am I supposed to add the other bootloader file?

I have the exact same problem. I followed all the wiki instructions. I had to re-flash back to 1.1.0

You have a V1 board, Version 1.5 won't work with V1 boards. I'm having the same issue :(

This is upsetting. Is there a working version of the firmware that works with the v1 boards. Most of the apps have no functions. This wasnt cheap.

It dosent make sense. If the new board version must use a majority of the same parts and pins. Maybe there are some missing traces. We could add jumper wires. The firmare should work. Unless its a different type of esp32. If thats the case can i replace the esp to be able to update it?

@duggie162-cpu I added a BLE scan feature as well, when you are changing frequency go all the way left tp 300 then one more click left and it will scan the whole thing.. its kinda cool.. I forgot to mention that in the readme so now you know 😈

Flash went smoothly, really appreciate your clear instructions. Was a lot easier than trying to figure out V1.5.0 instructions.
Everything started up. Enjoyed the color changes but recommended more you update it with some of your own branding. Giving credit were credit is due. Startup screen still says V1.1.0 and the about says the same was expecting to see (ESP32-DIV v2.0 — FENRIR Edition) or the like. Could be the firmware flash. Didn't take but it definitely has different color contrast then cifers original

Looking forward to testing out all the features. And thank you so much for your work on this particular issue. I was afraid my DIV-V1 was a fancy paper weight when V1.5.0 didn't take. So definitely appreciate the hard work you did for the community.

BRO - thank you soooooo much for this. Im flashing right now. This was simple. But the amount of people that have the V1 boards i agree with the above comments. You sir should continue this update for the v1 board and make it your own. You turned our paperweights into functional devices.

I still have some things to fix and tinker with, I like you was hoping for some features so I decided to make them my self! I sent everything to cifer a few weeks ago, I dont know the guy but I figured I would help out.. the next day he released 1.5 and a new unit, lol not even kidding! timing right.. I have those PCB's back from JLCPCB and will build one eventually.. I'll do some more updating and throw my splash and some other little nuggets in it!! I left the splash and branding intact as I thought cider might want it but I never heard from him.. SOOooooo congratulations on being the first 4 people in the world aside from me to have the HaleHound firmware!!! so now im in the shit ill see if I can make a few more improvements.. makes me very happy you all had no issue and are pleased!!! 🔥🔥🔥🔥... ill get another round of updates together pretty quick !! let me know how it does!!!

If I read this correctly "I have those PCB's back from JLCPCB and will build one eventually." And you have working plans for the V2 model you should set up copies because there's at least 4-5 issues with people not getting the PCB'S to print. You'll have a cult following if you can get working files out for everyone to use, Myself included.

I'm glad somebody shared this on discord and is spreading the word. He definitely deserves some serious recognition. Thanks again for your help. Look forward to the updates.
