Clerk Skills

AI agent skills for Clerk authentication, organized into core, frameworks, features, and mobile categories, plus internal maintenance skills under .agents/skills/.

Internal maintenance skills live in .agents/skills/. Mirror each one into .claude/skills/ with a symlink to the same directory.

Plugin Registry

.claude-plugin/marketplace.json - Anthropic plugin format with 4 grouped plugins. .codex-plugin/plugin.json - Codex plugin manifest for the full skills bundle. .agents/plugins/marketplace.json - Codex marketplace registry for installing the plugin.

Contributing

Read STYLEGUIDE.md before editing agent-facing setup instructions. It separates semantic review rules from the mechanical prompt invariants enforced in CI.

  1. Each skill needs SKILL.md with YAML frontmatter (name, description, license)
  2. Place in the correct category directory
  3. Add to .claude-plugin/marketplace.json under the matching plugin group
  4. Skill names use clerk- prefix (e.g. clerk-nextjs-patterns)
  5. Folder names keep the clerk- prefix (e.g. frameworks/clerk-nextjs-patterns/)
  6. When adding, removing, or moving skills, keep applicable marketplace manifests in sync.

CI checks

The Test and Check workflows in .github/workflows/ run npm scripts backed by scripts/. Run npm test to test the checkers and npm run check to validate the skills.
