The example plots step could be improved by using the plot_histograms python script in the cms-opendata-processing-tasks/WorkflowUtils repository. The pt, eta and phi variables might be more useful to have as instant plots once the workflow has run.
Maybe let the user set in a reference data name and the workflow fetches it and uses it to compare the two datasets. Or just plots the histograms of this processed dataset alone.
