Q: batch and slurm env vars

Posting here so it doesn't fall in the maw of Slack expiration. Maybe others can find this in the future.

What environment variables does coiled batch set up to help in task/job differentation? Any and all that are similar or the same as slurm would be helpful to have documented.

I've seen the following to on the website, but I'm not sure if there's a place they're all collected (with semantics):

• COILED_BATCH_TASK_ID
• COILED_ARRAY_TASK_ID

Does https://docs.coiled.io/user_guide/batch.html#coordination cover what you want?

There are a few env vars (like COILED_ARRAY_TASK_ID) where we changed the name so aren't documenting the old name, but still set the var in case there's anything still using it.

Are there other things that you'd find helpful if we exposed as env vars?

Ah, maybe I'm having flashbacks to prior iterations. I didn't have anything specific in mind. Probably just hallucinating that there were a few more related to COILED_BATCH_TASK_ID than ever actually existed.
