Error when Cosmos Relayer tries to connect to endpoint

We run a relayer between Passage and Picasso. When the relayer tries to connect to the Picasso node we receive the following error:

error        Failed to query client state to get trusting period        {"chain_name": "picasso", "chain_id": "centauri-1", "client_id": "08-wasm-5", "error": "no concrete type registered for type URL /ibc.lightclients.wasm.v1.ClientState against interface *exported.ClientState"}

Never seen this error before, not sure if there's something wrong with the chain, our node configuration, or something else, but another relayer is using Hermes and they don't encounter this error.
