If you force the mobile version display thanks to changing the user-agent, it still works. I hope it will be fixed.

You have add-ons to manage that, and configure a mobile user-agent only for YouTube. You will get the mobile version of it, with a bad ergonomics.
Or you can do Ctrl-Shift-M for the current page and choose a device, or set the user-agent of a device.
