Slideshow flickers during image transition

1️⃣ Steps to reproduce

1. Go to a folder with multiple images.
2. Open an image and start Slideshow(F12)
3. Wait after the first 3-4 smooth transitions, then you will see Slidwshow turns fully black for a short time everytime transiting to the next image.

2️⃣ Actual behavior

Slideshow goes fully black during image transition, which creates a flicker when browsing even dark images.

3️⃣ Expected behavior

Keep the previously displayed content as it is and do not go full black when loading and getting ready for the next image.

5️⃣ Additional context

I don't know if this is a delibrate replication of how physical slides work. I find that the main window of IG transits properly as of my experience (could be transplanted to Slideshow? idk), while flickers of Slideshow persist in window/fullscreen mode, with big/small images, in one/dual monitor cases alike.

Same behavior here, black pauses are longer with 48Mpix photos. It is tiring for the eyes.
