Option to open external links in external browser #36

Description

Describe the feature request

Opening an external link in Facebook currently opens an in-app browser webview instead of an external browser (e.g. Safari).

The reason Facebook does that is to collect and track the user’s navigation + keep him into Facebook app to make sure that the user goes back to Facebook and wastes more time browsing it.

This is a big privacy concern and opening the link in the external browser from within this webview requires two clicks every time.

Mods for other social network apps (e.g. Twitter, Instagram) all have an option to force opening external links in an external browser instead of letting the app hijack it.

Would it be possible to add such an option? It would be massively useful, thanks!

Example of an external link hijacked by Facebook’s spying webview:
