An explanation of how you have used your “Brag Diary” to record your progress.:
Using the Brag Diary as a reflective tool allowed me to consistently track my learning progress and document the evolution of my technical skills throughout the course. Each time I encountered a new topic or challenge, I recorded my initial difficulties followed by the specific achievements I gained through practice. This approach helped me break down my journey into manageable stages, making it easier to recognize progress even when topics like JavaScript felt like a foreign language.
By intentionally separating challenges from achievements, I was able to reflect honestly on my struggles while maintaining a focus on growth. This process encouraged me to highlight key milestones, such as mastering Git commands, completing all mandatory tasks, and becoming proficient with tools like VS Code and GitHub. The diary also served as a way to reinforce positive habits, reminding me of the value in persevering through complex problems and asking for help rather than staying stuck.
Ultimately, the Brag Diary has provided clear evidence of my resilience and development since I began coding in November 2025. It has not only built my confidence by showcasing how far I have progressed but also provided a library of professional examples I can use in future interviews to demonstrate my technical growth and mindset as a learner
bonus: it helped me sometimes to keep myself busy to get relief from stress
