Hi,

Would it be hard for you to not replace entire files unless you've replaced all the content? It's very hard for us with custom code bases to see exactly what you've changed everytime you replace all the content in a file.

Im afraid this is an issue with github, were as annoyed as you guys are, if the changes are small it seems to understand but any change bigger than a couple of lines it screws it all up.

You can use WinMerge (http://winmerge.org/) to compare folders and the files in it. Then you can see which files changed(or removed/added).

i only have this happenning if i use the github windows shell

nowadays i just manually edit files live in the git :P

This happens when you dont use and ide and manually edit fires on git, You all should be using eclipse to do any development, if i was doing the wasteland to dayz conversion by hand i would pull my hair out. It has egit built in. If anyone needs help setting it up contact me on opendayz.net

Never had these issuse with git+eclipse with java
