Target type collection expressions to enumerators

Basically, what the title says.

public IEnumerator<int> GetEnumerator() => [1, 2, 3];
public IEnumerator GetEnumerator() => []; // only empty collection is allowed for non-generic

Just an idea, I haven't thought about this too much.

Can you speak to the prevalence of these scenarios and compare the existing approaches which are used in these scenarios?

Imagine a custom collection and the GetEnumerator has to have special logic tailored to that collection.

However, this can probably fall out of natural type - just [1,2,3].GetEnumerator().

My thinking really was that, target typing would allow for a more efficient implementation; think an unspeakable type emitted which does the enumeration very efficiently.

Come to think of it, it's really very niche, probably not worth the effort.
