@ArgoZhang sorry for the misleading. actually, what I mean is in the original issue title.

maybe the solution is to provide another component for user to copy text on the webpage directly without touch the backend code.it will be very fast.

now If I use ClipboardService to do the copy task, it is slow.

for example, after click the copy button, I want to make the button to show a tick icon, and after 2-5 seconds, remove the tick icon to show the original button. it is painful to use ClipboardService to do such task, and user experience is not good even if the network is good.

what I mean, it is not a performance issue, it is a ux design issue.

the following is chatgpt's copy function.

1. hint user to copy(normal copy state) when user hover on the copy button

2. user copy(copied state)

3. hint user to copy(normal copy state)

For straightforward copy use cases (e.g., copying innerHTML or innerText), pure JavaScript is enough, and there’s no need to go through the Blazor backend.

@ice6 now. it's clear. this is a new requirement and has nothing to do with clipboard-service. I was misled by the issue title.

It seems a new component is needed, such as CopyButton. or provider a pure Javascript api.
