By looking for free tools to design my furniture a bit more robust I found your woodworking workbench in 2021 - and got hooked on FreeCAD that way. The learning curve was quite steep but your tool helped me quite a lot at that time (and was the motivation to get my arms around FC!).
Because my focus later on got more on 3D Print and CNC, I worked more with other workbenches in FreeCAD. But recently I had to design some furniture again and thought, I should use your workbench again.
Now with FC 1.0.2 and the latest woodworking workbench installed from the standard workbench repository.
What an improvement!
Although I haven't tried all the new features, the whole setup feels more reliable and less sensitive to user errors.
A massive amount of new features, extensive documentation and catchy icons with great instructions in pop-ups!
You must have invested hundreds, probably thousands of hours! Fantastic work! Flattening!

Thank you for the kind words. I've been quite busy in real life lately. My car, an old 1993 Opel Astra, failed its inspection due to rust, and I'll have to scrap it. It's a shame, because I used to transport a lot of boards and build a lot of wardrobes. Now I'm looking to buy a new car, and I chose a Kia Picanto. I still have a bedside table to build, but I'm not sure I'll want to transport boards in a new car right away. I also need to do some renovations to the garage. But I think I'll get back to it eventually.

For now, maigCAD 3.0 (with updates) should work without my intervention for a long time for anyone who wants to design their own wardrobe.

Today, the Astra went to rest. It spent its final days hauling bags of cement for a garage renovation. It performed very well and deserved a rest.

It's unlikely the Picanto would have endured everything the Astra endured. Today's cars have much thinner paint and thinner sheet metal, and they rust after just three years. Therefore, I'll need to save up at least 5,000 PLN by December for professional underbody protection and all-season tires.

Now I'm waiting for the deregistration process and the registration of a new car. In the meantime, I'd also like to renovate the garage a bit, so I still have a lot of work ahead of me. However, I still have a wardrobe to do, so sooner or later the Picanto will have to transport something.
