Description
I create this ticket to inform you and to track the progress of the OECD API migration:
A colleague of mine stumbled upon an information on the OECD website that states that their data offering is being migrated. After contacting them, I was pointed to two documents and a mapping sheet:
- https://gitlab.algobank.oecd.org/public-documentation/dotstat-migration/-/raw/main/OECD_Data_API_documentation.pdf
- https://data-explorer.oecd.org/: https://gitlab.com/sis-cc/topologies/oecd-migration/-/raw/main/OECDDatasetsCorrespondence.xlsx
The digest:
- The legacy OECD.Stat APIs have reached their end of life and will be switched-off at the end of June 2024. API users are encouraged to migrate their queries before that date.
- The new API is fully SDMX-compatible and is based on the SDMX reference implementation by Eurostat
- we strongly recommend you using this occasion to upgrade to a more recent SDMX standard version
- old domain: http://stats.oecd.org/ - new domain: https://sdmx.oecd.org/
I won't be able to look into this topic before ~ June 25th because of other projects and a holiday - maybe someone else wants to take the lead here...
