Support for bezier curves

Would it be possible or desirable to connect tube stations with curves, rather than straight lines?

I appreciate it would be a lot of work to "re-align" the existing routes, but that could happen either gradually over time, or by consulting other data sources. The train lines don't move much, once captured.

If you meant automated curves, I think that might confuse people into thinking they are the actual routes of the tunnels; at least it's more obvious with straight lines that these are simply joining the dots. If you meant manually constructing the actual routes of the tunnels between stations somehow, along with moving the dots along those lines, then I guess I'd be happy to look at/accept anything that did that, but I don't think it's something I'll be doing myself.

What I imagined was more along the lines of an additional data set; essentially the edges of the graph expressed as curves. Where available, this could be rendered instead of the straight lines.

It might be convenient to use quadratic or cubic Bézier curves, as these are supported by the HTML canvas API.
