  • Use asciidoc for new work (there is a maven plug-in to convert to html to add to org.eclipse.cdt.doc.user plug-in)
  • at a minimum we should have doc for core build
  • There was some discussions of pros/cons of asciidoc vs markdown
• discussed 11.6.1 and reasons for its release
• move to github discussions is acceptable for now
• @jld01 is looking at IGnuToolFactory and applying it to Core Build (plans to open issue here in the future if feasible)
• some discussions on lldb-mi support, vscode cpp tools uses lldb-mi https://code.visualstudio.com/docs/cpp/lldb-mi and https://github.com/lldb-tools/lldb-mi
