Retro action item follow up, emerging from the Axim settings cleanup effort that Arch-BOM assisted with:

Create an “Audit the settings for possible cruft removal” ticket to invest in this without the urgency of a refactor. Could this be blended into the containerization work? Script out the identification of candidates for removal.

I moved this to a P4 (nice-to-have) in the containerization project, and we'll see what happens.
