Additional layouts in the docker image

Hi,
I one of your latest changes you have modified the grott/Dockerfile to add special handling for the T065020.json layout file.
Unfortunately, in my installation I don't need this one, but I would need another one from the original "examples/Record Layout" folder.
Is there any clever way to customize which additional layout we need?
Currently I have to install your version as locale addon and modify the Dockerfile, but I like to have an easier solution.

hi, I am seconding this. I have my own template file I'd like to use. Would it be possible to side load it somehow in the homassistant addon? maybe by dropping the templates into /config/grott/layout or something?

I found a bit of time to solve this issue. If you switch to the edge addon repository, you can test the change.

Now if you drop your layout in the config dir of ha (next to the grott.ini) you should get something like:

2025-03-10 23:57:23,908 - grottconf - 	INFO: 	tchntthree.json

in the logs

If you can test and give me confirmation it works correctly for you too, I will do a new release.

Thank you for your update.
Just installed this version, looks like it will work.
On startup, I have this in the logs:

Grott process json layout files
t000104.json

I can fully confirm tomorrow when the sun shines again :)

I can confirm, works as expected.

By the way: how can I install the Edge branch from the repository? When I go to the Add-on Store, I can see only the beta and stable branches.

(currently I installed it as a local add-on)

Another question: my logging looks different than yours, why? I don't have the timestamps and even the text is a bit different, missing the "external"
