Add setting for ‘app icon’ logo #705
Comments
Hi. I'm not sure what you mean. for the last point that is not possible, google search does not return transparent pngs, that's why I added the "Attempt to remove background of logos from image search" to the settings. It's an experimental feature and far from perfect. |
I must have missed that attempt to remove background option. I'll take a look. It would be cool to have a toggle for the search that tried to do the search for the app icon vs the logo. The logos can be really big and all different sizes and personally I think it looks messy. App icons on the other hand are uniform in size and it makes the dashboard look nice and clean. |
Ah. I understand now. |
Thank you! |
To make my subscription dashboard look clean I’ve been searching for the app icons, downloading them and uploading them.
I think this could be done by appending something to the inbuilt search in the background, it would give a higher chance of the results being want I personally (and I think others) may want.
As a bonus I also tried to find icons that were pngs and had no background so they looked great in dark mode too. Again something else that could potentially be added as default?
