About the RMD Web Renderer

This is a project started by Sean McCurry and JooYoung Seo.

The idea is to create a web based method for users (specifically blind users, but anyone really) to create files from RMarkdown text.

RMarkdown is, essentially, Markdown with the ability to also include R code. For more information you can check out the main RStudio Rmarkdown page, or the GitHub RMarkdown page.

The reasoning is that RMarkdown is considerably easier for blind users to work with than a full fledged application like PowerPoint or Adobe Acrobat. Simple RMarkdown can be created, and then rendered to any file type desired.

For more info, contact the devs: Sean McCurry, JooYoung Seo, or check out the source code on GitHub.
