According to https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ethereum#Milestones

Homestead is not even current version, yet some changes are added.

If this repo is not just for Homestead but for current version, README should be updated,
as well as http://ethdocs.org/en/latest/ front page

The README should be updated, the maintainers would probably be happy to merge a PR for that.
