Description
I like the new metadata structure proposal. The one issue that is not clear to me is what distinguishes the different kinds of objects we define, i.e., people, or platform_configurations. Is the distinction the structure of the object, i.e., the key words that they contain? If so what differences are essential and to what extent can people add additional information, and how would I know this from the documentation. Related to this, in defining the objects, what kind of object is the flight segmentation?
Somehow I keep having in mind that the kinds of objects should be defined by their allowable relationship to other objects. Then in a way with the right keyword, they would become self defined, i.e., people can be found in other objects, but other objects can not be found in people, and so on. Or?
