I have the use case to have many time zones in my menu bar, but I only care for the hour in the menu bar (given that 99% of time zones share the same minute number).
But in the widget, I'd prefer to see the full time (maybe even date).
One way to achieve this is to provide separate date format strings for the menu bar and the pop up.
