i had to add ( ) and around some print commands (debian sid has no more python2, and python defaults to python3):

last few messages:

ERROR: ld.so: object '/usr/lib/gcc-cross/arm-linux-gnueabi/7/../../../../arm-linux-gnueabi/lib/libgcc_s.so.1' from LD_PRELOAD cannot be preloaded (wrong ELF class: ELFCLASS32): ignored.
